Celeb Chef Ming Tsai, who many have seen on the Food Network for years is now one of the 5 world-class chefs in the Iron Chef Netflix series, which just premiered on June 15th.

The global representation of Iron Chef pairs well with Chef Ming Tsai’s newest food company MingsBings, a chef-created plant-based pockets based on the traditional Chinese “bing,” a dim sum item dating back to the Ming dynasty and popular street food.

Chef Ming Tsai is a James Beard & Emmy Award-Winning chef, philanthropist, T.V. personality, and entrepreneur, and also hosted the longest-running cooking show on PBS, Simply Ming. After 20 years on PBS, in 2020, he launched “Plant-Powered Pockets” MingsBings, now available nationwide.

Using his signature East meets West culinary style, Tsai reinvented the “bing” with Western flavors and a plant-based, gluten-free, and dairy-free spin while also giving back to local charities. Since launching in 2020, MingsBings are now sold in over 2,000 retail stores, including nationwide in Target, Whole Foods, Wegmans, and more. They are also available at venues including Fenway Park, Yale University, and TD Garden.

With the mission of “Eat Good. Feel Good. Do Good.” Chef Ming Tsai’s brand aims to bring its flavor-forward, plant-based food to households nationwide while also giving back. A portion of proceeds are donated to Family Reach and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, two organizations near and dear to Chef’s heart after his family’s personal experience with cancer (his wife is now fully recovered).
