Global non-profit Sustainable Travel International announced the release of a new website and brand identity in support of its 10th Anniversary.

The site represents a new chapter for the company, inspired by its first decade in which it helped thousands of destinations and businesses design and implement innovative sustainability programs that contribute to localized economic development, preserve cultural-heritage, and support environmental conservation.

With a decade of experience under its belt, Sustainable Travel International has refined the tools and solutions it offers to businesses and destinations; each designed to be scaled for wide-reaching impact. The organization plays an important connector role, working with businesses, governmental, and nonprofit organizations of all sizes, across many sectors, to create change in the spirit of shared responsibility.

With a growing team positioned on four continents, and an ever-expanding portfolio of clients, partners and projects, Sustainable Travel International enters its second decade positioned at the forefront of the sustainability dialogue. Recent highlights include the organization’s selection as lead consultant for the development and pilot testing of the Global Sustainable Tourism Council’s Criteria for Destinations. The organization also leads the Sustainable Travel Leadership Network, an exclusive executive-level association of forward-thinking multinational organizations, working together to tackle today’s industry challenges.

Sustainable Travel International will host a series of events to commemorate its anniversary year while inciting dialogue about the future of sustainable tourism with other industry thought leaders. The first event will take place October 17 in Washington, D.C., and will be co-hosted by The George Washington University.
